Designing jewelry is more than a craft for me; it's a passion that brings me endless joy. At Bella Adornia, every piece begins as a spark of inspiration. So many nature inspired designs come to me throughout the day, often in the most unexpected ways. It can be a field of flowers, which is what inspired the Rose Mirage earrings.  

It could just be a beautiful color combination in nature, I truly feel so inspired by the beauty I find while out on a walk, hiking or even on a drive.  Sometimes it's the shimmer of light on a windowpane, or the delicate details of vintage textiles can all inspire a new design. These little moments stay with me, building excitement as I imagine how different materials can come together to create something truly special.

Nature Inspired Weekend Creations

No matter how busy my week gets, I always look forward to the carving out a few hours on the weekend, when I can sit down in my creative space and bring those ideas to life. I surround myself with beads, wire, thread, and chain, letting my hands guide the process. Sometimes, I start with a clear vision; other times, I experiment, letting the materials speak to me. There's something incredibly fulfilling about seeing an idea take shape, evolving from scattered components into a piece of jewelry that feels just right.  Most of the time I create several prototypes until I find something I'm happy with. Other times the first attempt is perfect.  I never know!

Nature Inspired Designs I Wear Myself

What makes this process even more meaningful is that every piece I create is nature inspired and adornments I would love to wear myself. I don't just design for the sake of making jewelry; I design with the intention of creating something beautiful, elegant, and timeless. If I wouldn't wear it with pride, it doesnt make it into the Bella Adornia collection.

Pride in sharing nature inspired designs with others

The most rewarding part of this journey is sharing my nature inspired creations with others. Making something with my own two hands, and seeing them on you is truly humbling! Knowing that someone will wear and cherish a piece I made, that it might become a meaningful part of their personal style or even a treasured gift, fills me with a deep sense of fulfillment. Jewelry isn't just an accessory, it's an expression of artistry, emotion, and individuality.  It's Bella Adornia!

Unplugging and letting creativity flow

Every weekend, I return to my little world of creativity, eager to bring new designs to life. I put on some music, sip on some tea, or a cocktail and let the creativity flow!  It's a process that never feels like work, only joy.  I look forward to bringing the nature inspired ideas to my studio and creating something that represents me.
